"Iesha is the founder of Street Corner Resources, a not-for-profit organization in Harlem, N.Y. Street Corner Resources was founded on the principles of peace, justice, social/emotional health, and educating individuals about the harmful effects of gangs and gun violence. In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, Iesha and her cohorts model social distancing while passing out gloves, masks, and information to passersby. Iesha also gives her time to radio stations and news programs where she shares information about the pandemic and the changes needed within the community to eradicate it."

"Marisa is a pediatric nurse practitioner at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in Brooklyn. She is the director of the well-baby nursery in the mother and baby unit. She has worked tirelessly through the outbreak to protect newborn mothers and their babies, taking on extra responsibilities and hours as members of her staff have fallen in. She is one of the kindest, bravest people I know and I'm proud to call her my friend. The babies and mommas of Brooklyn are so lucky to have her watching out for them."

"Kate is a Labor & Delivery nurse at Maine Medical Center. She is passionate about caring for mothers, newborns, and new families and providing labor support to patients delivering their babies during the COVID-19 pandemic. Not only does Kate take her job seriously, coming to work every day with a mission to help new mothers give birth in a caring environment and newborns enter this world as peacefully as possible, but she also cares about health and wellness and is trained as a yoga teacher. The combination of her raw medical skills, as well as health and wellness passion, makes her such a unique nurse and someone who offers so much more than basic medical care to her patients."

"Michelle is an RN at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. She works hard to care for and help support all the patients she meets from our diverse community, especially those affected by this crisis. This past month, Michelle was able to connect designer and sewing-house friends with healthcare workers to supply their families with non-medical face masks, as well as coordinate local Girl Scout cookie donations for hardworking hospital staff."
